N/Mo 55 build (or 45)
Heh, well as some of you know I just bought the game 4 days ago and I've been going through prophecies....Well I'm 20 - 4 days to hit max level, for a new player, in the "harder to level" continent. How? The 55 build.
Pretty basic setup:
Protective Spirit
Guardian
Healing Breeze
Mending
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
SS
Suffering
I ran through the missions and normal gameplay for awhile, then found a guy willing to run me to Drok's from Yek's for free (also gave me 20k, nice guy) and then another guy for taking me to LA for all my money (2k at the time). There I captured protective spirit, then went back and found a group to help me get SS.....the rest is all from trainers. Then I set out to learn how to do a 55 build....and man is it a rough learning curve, but I went after mountain trolls. Constantly having to change my build back and forth, because when you level your gear changes...the worst being 19 (had 35 hp...aka the "no mistakes allowed" build).
Something too note, I noticed how they scattered but if I was holding a wand or a staff, and shot them - they'd come right back. Also Suffering helped because they didn't scatter when I used that, and it did some noticable damage - this may not be the "uber" build for now, but it got me from 14 to 20 in roughly 2-3 hours all in prophecy. Not bad huh?

So, do you have any idea what the plot is in the game after doing all of that? I can tell you right now you'll get bored fast, if all you do is google some builds and try to blow through levels. You won't get to 21, you know.

Not impressive. Anyone willing to pay can power-level in the game.

Seeing as bots can do the exact same thing as you, are you proud? Getting max level so fast on your first character is just lame, imo of course.

Bunch of freaking wolves, chill out - now I can go through the game at 20, and in a lot of places, solo with henchies because it's so hard to find groups in some places. Now I can finish the missions/quests while it's a lot more enjoyable - now when 4 ettins come on my group, I dont have to worry about them slaughtering my henchies so fast.
Sheesh, give a build that helps people level faster and you all cry "oh my god, noob, play the game!" - please, *NO ONE* likes leveling/grinding, it's retarded and for people that got the game less than week ago...you try finding groups or getting into "the scene" of the game. Try asking how to ask "how do you announce your target" and have everyone laugh at you.
Bunch of elitist pricks.

Elitist pricks? Erm...if you had used the search button you would have realized that this thread was worthless as there are plenty of builds just like this all over these forums...
Sure, everyone else that posted was indeed being rude, they could have just pointed out what I did, but they didn't...oh well, life goes on...

i agree that the previous posts have been on the rude side, but im not sure they were being elitist. you have to understand, this is the solo 55 N/Mo build. its been around for what i would have to think is like a year or more. we have all seen it, used it, modded it, and such. its not new or groundbreaking so they didnt drop any praise.
still, i agree they did so in a not so nice sort of way.
heres the link to it on the wiki:

On a slightly different issue with the MM build.
I will be working up to the 55 build but for now a simple question. I don't know quite how to explain it but here goes.
First, why can I only maintain or create 6 fiends at a time?
How does one maintain more the 6?
Also, when I am playing along side of a MM, (pardon my description here),but this MM was controlling is this huge fiend or something that has a big horn on it's head, all other fiends are running close with this huge fiend.
What is that, and how can I get one to use with my MM?

You can control up to 10 minions at a time .. but only with Death Magic of 16. Anything lower than 16 and the number of minions decreases. (See link below for a chart)

The huge fiend is called a Flesh Golem and it is a Faction elite skill.

Never should have unless you are doing something wrong.

A build that has been out for years. You posted something REDUNDANT without reading the stickies, forum rules, or the functions to the search button deserve a slap on the face.

Some people do - stop assuming like you actually know what you are talking about.

Exactly why you have no idea what you are talking about.

Too bad, that's life. A man who asks the question is stupid for a moment. A man who never asks the question is stupid for eternity.
I bet you just said that because all the "cool" and "older" kids at your school said it once.
